Project Details

The mansion, dating back to 1724 and expanded over 250 years, required various renovations due to deteriorating exterior finishes and architectural components. MFS addressed asbestos abatement, selective demolition, historical wood repair, wood shingle installation, window rehabilitation, historical painting, clear finishing, and site restoration.

Safety measures were implemented, including safety fences, warning signs, and labeled dumpsters. Asbestos remediation followed OSHA standards. Wood repairs included dutchman or epoxy repairs, and new wood shingles were installed.

Windows were reglazed and installed after abatement, with historical repair sequences observed. Painting occurred in two phases, and upon completion, disturbed areas were repaired, and landscaping restored. The work zone was cleaned before demobilization.
