Project Details

Prior to starting the project, the client discovered ACM on the bathroom walls joint compound. To ensure safe removal of ACM the area was prepped/sealed for remediation of the ACM. The affected area was tested once all ACM was removed to ensure safe entry to complete remaining scope.

The MFS team then began the renovation of the men’s and women’s restrooms, removing all plumbing fixtures, partitions, vanity tops, lighting, heaters, tiles, and sheetrock. Installation of all new PVC Sanitary piping , new PEX plumbing, fire-resistant drywall, epoxy flooring, wall tiles, exhaust fans, LED lighting, sinks, mirrors, and steel entry doors.

Additionally, the mechanical room was upgraded by removing a 120-gallon storage tank, plywood floor, heater, and lighting. Installation of a new fiberglass contact tank, plywood, new valves, and a wall mounted heater.

The team also replaced all existing cast iron sanitary 3” drain lines with new sanitary 4” PVC lines in the basement and tied into the buildings sanitary outlet.
