Project Details

Before removing the fence, MFS disconnected existing electrical cables connected to the turnstile, camera, and card reader. After removal, the existing man door and section of fence were disposed of, with efforts to salvage the security fence topper. Onsite fabrication was required to integrate the turnstile with the existing fence post. The salvaged turnstile was aligned, leveled, and anchored to the slab below, with a recessed bearing installed. A fabricated fence topper matched the surrounding security fence. Electrical cables were reinstalled, and security systems reprogrammed to integrate the turnstile. During operation, pedestrian traffic was restricted to the single door entrance. All impacted areas were painted, and sections of the concrete walkway patched as part of the restoration process before demobilization.
