FAA ARSR Installation of Storage Building

Project Overview

MFS Construction, LLC (MFS) was contracted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide general construction services in support of the erection a new Pre-engineered Storage Building located at Gibbsboro, NJ.

Project Details

MFS’s primary role for this project was to provide all labor, equipment, and material, tools, supplies, management, and supervision necessary to assemble and install the storage building.

In support of this construction project, MFS’s construction team identified and marked-out existing underground utilities within the project extents. Following site clearing, the area was prepared to accept structural fill material, which was then compacted and graded.

Throughout the process, MFS’s team took extra care to ensure existing security cables and components were identified and protected from potential damage. Once the site was prepared, MFS installed the new building foundation and concrete floor slab. This work was followed up with the erection of the new pre-engineered building shell and installation of the building’s grounding system.

Finally, the new paved asphalt driveway was installed, and the site cleared of any remaining construction debris or temporary facilities.
