Repair Work at Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Providencia

Project Overview

MFS Construction, LLC (MFS) was contracted by Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Providencia to provide labor and expertise for the repair work at various areas affected by corrosion of rods and pipes. The scope of services included repairs to the second, third and fourth floors of the facility. Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Providencia supplied the necessary materials for the project.

Services provided:

• Installation of Scaffolding: MFS installed scaffolding to ensure safe access to the affected areas.

• Ring Out Affected Areas: The MFS team meticulously identified and marketed the area that were affected by corrosion, ensuring precise and targeted repairs.

• Application of Ferroguard Product: MFS applied the Ferroguard product to exposed areas of the steel, providing a protective coating to prevent further corrosion and deterioration.

• Armatec Product Application: MFS applied the Armatec product to enhance the structural integrity of the repaired areas, ensuring long-lasting strength and durability.

• Fill with Expansive Grout: The MFS team filled the repaired areas with expansive grout, ensuring a solid and secure bond between the new materials and the existing structure.

• Terminations with Talc and Cement: MFS expertly finished the repaired areas by applying talc and cement, providing a smooth and seamless integration with the surrounding areas.

• Disposal of Debris: MFS took responsibility for the proper disposal of debris resulting from the repair work, ensuring a clean and sage working environment.

MFS successfully completed the repair work at Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Providencia, addressing the corrosion issues. The project was finished within the specific timeline, meeting the client’s expectations for quality and safety.
